Dr. Sadati is a facial plastic surgeon specializing in nasal cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Boards of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AOBOO-HNS). He is a diplomat of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS), and a member of the prestigious American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (AAFRS). What does this mean? Dr. Sadati has published several studies and articles on the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. One such procedure has sped up recovery time by using free-fat transfers with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP). Dr. Sadati’s article on the research he did received the “Best Scholarly Manuscript” award in 2006 during the annual Academy of Cosmetic Scientific Conference.
Dr. Sadati’s extensive education and medical training began with undergraduate degrees in molecular cell biology and Near Eastern art and history from the University of California at Berkeley. From there, he began researching wound healing at the University of California at San Francisco and then earned his medical degree from Midwestern University in Illinois. He did an internship at Michigan State University’s Metropolitan Hospital and continued on to Philadelphia where he completed his facial plastic and reconstructive training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. After completing his Otolaryngology/HNS schooling in Pennsylvania, he went to Washington State for his fellowship training hosted by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
In the midst of his intensive medical studies, Dr. Sadati found time to attend evening classes at the prestigious school of fine arts in Philadelphia where he studied oil painting and sculpting to enhance his understanding of the human form which further improved his artistic eye. It is his eye for detail, coupled with his extensive medical background that vaulted him to the top of his game which earned him international recognition as one of the most reputable surgeons in his field.
